2022 GovForward: FedRAMP Policy & Marketplace Update

May 12, 2022

This half-day digital event will highlight the foremost innovators within the public and private sector as they showcase solutions, share best practices, and discuss the future of the Federal cloud marketplace. For the 4th consecutive year, Congressman Gerry Connolly will deliver the opening keynote which will be followed by additional headliners from multiple government agencies.

As a top target for cyber criminals, the government must remain vigilant in protecting citizens’ sensitive data. Cloud security is a critical factor, as the government continues to move toward cloud first services. StateRAMP, designed as a public/private partnership, enables state and local governments to reduce cyber risks from unsecured cloud solutions and benefits cloud service providers by creating a “verify once, use many” approach. During this webcast, join Arizona’s CIO & StateRAMP Board President, J.R. Sloan, StateRAMP Executive Director, Leah McGrath, and the Chief Information Security Officer from the State of Texas, Nancy Rainosek, to explore how StateRAMP certification is the way to approach state and local cloud solutions. They will discuss the history of StateRAMP, provide updates on how they have improved relations between technology and procurement officials, and how certain states work with StateRAMP certified vendors in their own certification program.
