Our Mission
The NASPO/StateRAMP Procurement Task Force was established in October of 2023 and is comprised of members from both the procurement and IT communities. This robust team ensured we considered all stakeholders’ points of view when creating tools to assist states and local governments in procuring secure and safe IT cloud products.
Our mission? To review current practices for IT procurements, as it relates to cybersecurity, cloud products, and the government’s Risk Authorization Management Programs (RAMP), and create tools to assist everyone in this challenging but extremely necessary process.
After nearly a year of work, the Task Force has created a Procurement Toolkit that helps bring procurement into the IT conversation and ensures that everyone can work together to increase their organization’s cyber posture.
